Elevate Your Plate: Cannabis Infused Garlic & Herb Linguine

This Munchie Monday, we’re celebrating the ultimate comfort food linguine. It also happens to fall on National Linguine Day!

Whether you’re twirling it around your fork or scooping up every last bite of sauce, pasta is the perfect canvas for flavor. And when you add cannabis into the mix, it becomes a next level culinary experience.

Today’s recipe keeps it simple: garlic, olive oil, fresh herbs, and a touch of infused cannabis. Perfect for weeknight dinners, date nights, or just a self-care comfort dinner.

Cannabis-Infused Garlic & Herb Linguine
Servings: 2–3
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients: (add any pasta addition you like!)
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (2 tbsp regular, 1 tbsp cannabis-infused olive oil or cannabis tincture in oil base)
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook until al dente, according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Make the Sauce:
While pasta cooks, heat 2 tbsp regular olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden (about 2 minutes). Stir in red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Add the Pasta:
Toss drained linguine into the skillet with garlic oil. Add a splash of reserved pasta water to help coat the noodles.
  4. Infuse & Finish:
Remove from heat. Drizzle in 1 tbsp cannabis-infused olive oil (or add your preferred dose of cannabis tincture) and toss well. Stir in fresh parsley, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Serve:
Plate up your linguine and top with parmesan if desired. Twirl, savor, and enjoy responsibly.
Tips for Infusing with Cannabis
  • Start low, go slow. Always measure your cannabis oil carefully to control potency.
  • If using a tincture, add it at the very end of cooking (off the heat) so cannabinoids don’t degrade.
  • Pair your pasta with a fresh salad or garlic bread to round out the meal.

It’s simple, quick, and full of flavor! Most importantly, it’s customizable. Add shrimp, chicken, or roasted veggies to make it heartier, or keep it light and fresh. National Linguine Day only comes once a year, but this infused recipe will have you craving pasta night all year long.
